Hello everyone!

I regret to inform you that this will be my last post. I know, I know, you are all thinking that you love reading my post everyday and will miss me dearly! Yeah right lol, I really do suck at remembering to update you and well it just isnt a top priority anymore. SOOOO sorry it has been forever since I posted!!!

I had my baby....a month ago today actually.

This is Ike and I the morning of the 8th leaving for the hospital. We had a scheduled c-section due to Isaiah's size and the fact that he wasnt dropping. Little did we know what a great decision that turned out to be.

Isaiah Ryan Ikemefuna was born March 8, 2007 weighing 10lbs 10oz 21.5 inches long!!! Yes, I said 10lbs 10oz!!!

I am 27 today!!!!!

27 and having a baby in less than a month! WEIRD!!!!! Tomorrow is my baby shower at work which I am looking forward to. I am hoping to get all the little things I didn't get at my home shower!

I have been buying clothes for Isaiah like crazy, I just cant stop lol! Although, they are 6mos or more so I will need them eventually. Plus, I figure what I buy now will be less money I have to spend later down the line.

Here is a pic of an adorable pair of 6mos jean shorts I got at Target for $3!!! Ike thought they were really cute too!

I don't know why he isn't looking at the camera since it was his idea to take the picture! LOL

Ike and I have a romantic dinner planned for Saturday for Valentine's. He works til midnight M-F so the weekend is all we have. I think it is going to be really nice, we are both dressing up and hopefully we can get pics!

I got my car seat and stroller yesterday! It is so pretty, I am so excited about it! I know these are crappy photos but it is a lovely chocolate brown and a blue/green color! Very cool!

Two posts in one day...WOW!

I forgot to post a pic of Isaiahs bedding so here it is. The set I was orginally going to purchase got discontinued...figures lol...but this set is cute.

This is Isaiahs crib and bedding. My bed as you see in the pic has pink sheets and a creme comforter...not so good with a baby! So I have since bought myself a new bedding set that goes with his colors and is kid friendly.

But for now here is his stuff!!

33 wks I am!

I am 33 wks already, it has gone by so fast. It has been an awesome pregnancy up to this point but I think it is all downhill from here. I feel yucky and I am so emotional. It seems like everything just hits me so hard. I am tired of the bad weather, I havent seen Ike in almost two weeks, I had to postpone my Baby Shower....it is just like everything is going wrong!

I know most of it is just being pregnant and emotional and will go away soon enough. I am trying to stay positive because it could be A LOT worse. So, positive I am!

Here is my latest pic taken today by the lovely Nat.

This pic is of 31wks and then 33wks. It totally amazed me how big I have gotten in the last two weeks. This is why I feel yucky lol!

Sorry I havent been posting often, I always forget about my blog until I start to read Nats. So basically we can just blame it on her! J/K

My shower that was supposed to be this weekend will be next weekend and I am excited! I will have tons of pics and will gladly share them with you all!

Third Ultrasound today!

At our last us (18wks) the baby had a bit of fluid in his kidney, so they scheduled another one so they could check it again.

His kidneys were looking fine and he is still a HE! Dad was proud of his giant scrotum lol! He already has hair on his little head, well, I say little but he actually measured big this time. He measured 4lbs 7 oz and Feb 22nd due date.......we arent due til March 6. So I guess I will talk to the dr. about what that means and if anything is changing. All in all, it was very exciting to see the little guy. He was sucking and playing with his little toes. CUTE!

Oh, and my glider came in and I love it!!!!!

CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!!!

This is my Christmas present from IKE!!!!! I AM SOOOO EXCITED TO GET IT! He just ordered it so it should be here next week sometime! I cant wait to sit in it!!! YEAH!!!

A lovely pic of my bare belly! I am between 28 and 29 wks and it still amazes me how fast it passes. It's weird cause I dont feel like my belly is that big but I can tell that my body is working harder to support it. I can't walk for long periods of time without getting completely exhausted and my back just kills me. I am just going to have to take it slow and let myself rest more.

Went to get a pedi!!

It felt SOO nice! I am definitely doing that several times before Isaiah is born! I have had several before but I never really appreciated the rubbing and care taken. Also, my lady got fancy with it and put some decorations on my big toe!! Check it out!

The pic is a little blurry since I took it with my phone, but you can see she did her thang and painted a pretty holly.

FYI, I would like to thank Nat since this was one of my christmas presents! LOVE YA!!

A LOT HAS HAPPENED THIS WEEK!!

1. I failed my Glucose test! Ugh...now I have to take the 3 hr test and be on a "eat as much as you possibly can" diet three days prior. I am not at all excited about this!

2. I started the first part of my birthing classes. Nat is going with me and let me tell ya we had a blast!! This first part is about prenatal care and then caring for the newborn when it arrives. We got to play with the rubber babies that represent different weeks in the womb...I took photos as well! All in all, we had a great time learning and playing and I cant wait to go next week!

BELLY IS GROWING....

WOW, look how much I have grown in three weeks! That is crazy!!! If you will remember the first pic was taken at 21 weeks. The second pic Nat took today at 24 weeks. It is crazy how fast it happens! YIKES, think of how much bigger I will be in 3 more weeks!!!

Love is:

Love is knowing that your unborn child is loved imensily even before he is born. Knowing that you would do anything to protect him and knowing that he will grow up with two parents that will ALWAYS be here for him!

This is Ike and I at a party before the baby was even created. Knowing that Ike will love his son and care for him just as much as I already do gives me such comfort.

WE PICKED OUT THE BABY BEDDING!!!!

And oh is it sooooo cute!!!!

How adorable is that??? We already have a crib but still no mattress, so as soon as we get one I am buying this! It was only $80 for all four pieces! I thought that was a steal! Our crib is honey colored so it will look cute! I also bought those big wooden letters at walmart and painted them chocolate brown and they are hanging above the crib! TOO CUTE!!!!

Have I mentioned we picked out a name?!?!? Isaiah! It is a name I have always liked and Ike is picking out the middle name. So the letters above the crib spell out ISAIAH! I cant wait to buy the bedding and have the baby to put in it!

Finally a belly shot!

On the left we have a photo taken many a months ago, pre baby. On the right a belly shot taken yesterday at work by Nat! I used to have somewhat of a flat tummy but that has all ended LOL! It is kind of funny to look at the pics, the before you can actually see a shadow under my boobs! Now, my belly is beyond my boobs! Weird! I cant even begin to imagine what it will be like when I get bigger!

Active baby!!!

I felt the baby move for the first time about a week ago. We (Nat, Jake, my cousins and I) were at the movie theater waiting for our movie to start when I felt a little twitch in my stomach! I said to Nat "OMG! I think I just felt the baby move!" Then the night after that I was laying in bed and I felt the twitches again, that time I was sure it was the baby!

I have been feeling them every once in a while since then but today he has been more active than normal. It is about 2:00pm here and I just finished lunch about an hour ago and he is just jumping around in there! It still feels like twitches but I know it is him! It is so cool to finally be at that part of my pregnancy! Although I am terrified at the thought of having to give birth lol, I am totally ready to get this show on the road!

Its been quite a while....

I hadn't realized that it had been so long since I updated this thing. I am really really bad at this!!!

So, it is Love Thursday and my BFF Natalee posted a beautiful post on her blog about our friendship and that inspired me to post about her!

Nat is an amazing friend. She has always been there for me, pee stick and all, and I truly treasure her. I am so happy that I get to share my pregnancy with her and my son will grow up with bestest Aunt Nat any kid could have!

Thank you, Nat, for coming into my life and sharing these wonderful (although kinda scary) moments with me.

Also, I have included several pictures for your ahhing and laughing! We are a bunch of goofballs... really!

Finding out the sex...

A week from tomorrow we are having an ultrasound done to find out this baby sex. Ike and I both would like a girl but, of course, we would be happy with a boy as well! I am beyond excited! I will finally be able to buy clothing and all the numerous things we will need. Besides all that, this will definitely make it more real for both me and Ike.

I have been having pains on the sides of my stomach, feels like I am pulling a muscle. I looked into it and found out that at the start of the second trimester you will have Round Ligament Pain. So basically my stomach is going to FINALLY start growing. I am not showing much, so I just look like I am a little thicker in the middle lol, if that. I am excited to finally have a belly.

Anyways, thats the news for now!

BAD DREAMS....

I have been having horrible dreams lately. I have dreams that I fall and the baby dies, I have dreams that the delivery is awful, I have dreams that I will go into labor and have to give birth to the baby ALONE. Now, I know that these are dreams that probably every to-be mom has, they just bother me.

More so than that, I am almost terrified at the idea of going off my medicine a week or so before. Oh thats right, I have told you about the stroke I had in January of this year!

REWIND!

Okay so the day was January 26, and Nat and I were at a blood drive being held in our building. I was on the table and the nurse had started to put iodine on my arm when I suddenly felt a feeling rush over me and I knew something was wrong. I told the nurse I didnt feel right and she called another nurse over who determined that it was just nerves and I needed to just relax. By this time Nat had noticed and was making her way over (she couldnt give blood b/c she was sick at the time). One of the nurse was making a call to her boss and I was beginning to get really SCARED. Nat had called my gramma, who is also my boss, and told that something was wrong and she should come down. I just remember looking at the ceiling and thinking I dont feel right, I was talking very weird like I just couldnt quite think right. My right hand was moving or doing anything at normal speed, Natalee said that the right side of my face was not moving when I smiled.

Moments later I am talking to the Bank owner (we work in a Bank of Oklahoma building) so I guess someone notified him. Before, I knew it an ambulance had been called. Gramma got there and Nat told her what was going on, all the while I couldnt quite put together what was happening. Gramma sent Nat back upstairs and by then the ambulance had arrived. They came in and talk to me, took my blood pressure and then started wheeling me away. They wouldnt let gramma ride with me and when I looked over at her I could see her mouthing that she would be at the hospital by the time I got there.

Riding on an ambulance was an experience I dont ever wanna go through again. I was so scared and alone. I was just looking up trying to keep my eyes, which felt SO heavy, open cause I thought if I went to sleep I wouldnt wake up again. We arrived at the hospital in no time and gramma was waiting in front of the emergency room. They wheeled me in and began taking my blood pressure, it was 170/121. They gave me blood pressure meds to get it down and sent me straight for a CT scan. We waited and waited, my brother and uncle showed up and the doctors had really said anything about what was going on! We were there for about 5 hours and they were releasing me, I started to cry. I was still having slurred speech and I couldnt hardly move my right arm, how could they release me?? He said he was sending me to a specialist first thing in the morning but for now the best thing to do was go home and rest. After we arrived home it wasnt long before I did sleep. I just remember thinking I would be like this forever.

The next morning we (gramma and I) got dressed and went to see the dr. Of course, I couldnt walk without tipping to the right so gramma had to help me alot. He said that I had had a minor stroke from a blood clot. They didnt ever find the cause. I recovered almost 99% within a month. Now, nine months later, you cant ever tell I had a stroke. I am very blessed!!!

I am on Plavix, which my OBGYN knows about. He said it is fine and that he would take me off a week or so before the birth b/c it is a blood thinner and all. I cannot breastfeed though. Which I have gotten used to the idea of that. I have just been thinking about when they take me off for that week or so, I hope nothing happens! I am sure it will be fine but I cant help but be scared. That experience is something I wouldnt wish on anyone. Even typing this and reliving it made me teary, it was a horrible terrifing moment and I never wanna go through it again!

Well that was a terribly sad post and I will try to type happier things next time :)

Well......Ive lost weight :(

I have lost 5 pounds, which my Dr. said was fine. It kind of worried me though when I stepped on the scale. I am sure it is a result of me busting my ass at the second job. I have been so tired!!! He also listened to the baby's heart and it sounded fine so that is good! I am officially in my second trimester today. It is kind of exciting but also scary that I am getting so close to LABOR!!!

They also talked to me about a payment plan. So I am worrying about paying the TTL for my car, which is $400 AND my first car payment AND my student loans that I still have AND getting my cavities filled AND now my first payment for the baby....ALL IN SEPTEMBER! UGH..... This is why I have a second job! Luckily, when I told Ike he said he would give me money next weekend to pay the dr. for Sep. so that is a relief! He doesnt think I should be working at all and says he can help me pay my student loans and stuff. While, I appreciate the thought, I feel like that is my responsibility. Not to mention that he already has tons to pay himself. He truly is a nice guy.
